- Begin by chopping the kale, cabbage, and the leaves of the kohlrabi into thin strips and tossing them in a large bowl. I start with the kale and mix thoroughly by hand with each new ingredient so as to “massage” the kale and make it easier to eat.
- Cut the kohlrabi into quarters and then slice thin. Toss in with the greens.
- Finely chop the green garlic (or green onion) and add to the slaw along with the vinegar, milk, mayonnaise, and juice of 1/2 a lime. Sprinkle a dash of sugar over the mixture and then mix thoroughly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
